Victoria, the Director of the Glen Mhor Hotel and Uile-Bheist Distillery and Brewery,
as well as the J&R Group, is an accomplished leader in Scotland's hospitality sector.
With over 25 years of experience spanning both hospitality and education, Victoria is
committed to blending these fields to promote lifelong learning within the industry.
Victoria has championed sustainable tourism and practices, making significant
investments to set new industry standards. In May 2022, she unveiled Scotland's first
River Source Energy Centre at the Glen Mhor, a groundbreaking £8 million project
that provides all heating and water needs through sustainable energy, completely
eliminating the use of gas. Her dedication to sustainability also encompasses
advocating for green practices, mental health awareness, and diversity, equity, and
inclusion initiatives.
Passionate about accessibility and education, Victoria has developed sector
resources and school programs aimed at breaking down barriers. Her efforts ensure
that everyone, regardless of background, can access opportunities.
In addition to her professional achievements, Victoria is a dedicated philanthropist.
She founded The South African Children’s Charitable Trust, which supports
vulnerable and orphaned children in South Africa. She also serves as Co-Chair of
Visit Inverness Loch Ness and is a board member for Skills Development Scotland,
contributing her expertise to shape the future of tourism and skills development in
the region.
Her relentless drive for excellence and her innovative approach to sustainable

she is also an experienced taxi driver.
